Hi,
I have two questions about Switching to Halifax Reward Current Account:
1) what is a current average payment for switching to Halifax Reward Current Account -is it £50 or £100?
2) how long (if any) this account needs to be held in order to be able to switch again or close this account?
Thanks for your help.

1 - It depends how you apply. If you do it in branch, they may offer you a £50 incentive for switching although I dont know if all branches are doing this, and I think moneysupermarket.com were offering £50 to switch to Halifax via them. Theres no incentive if you just apply for the account through the Halifax website.
2 - I dont know why you'd want to close it, as if you cycle £1000 through the account every month, even if you dont use it as your main account, you still get your free £5.Debt free and staying that way! :beer:0 -

. . . but there is no minimum period for holding the account.

In my offers on my internet banking it offered me £50 to switch but after i went through the application (3 DD's and 1 SO and payment into account of £1000) there was no mention of the £50.
Trust me I WILL get it or they will get 20 emails a day untill it appears in my account.
I'll keep you informed.0 -
