Anyone had problems with this printer?
I have had allsorts:
Will not print, prints half page then stops, try to change printing preferences and it just will not print, sometimes when it does decide to print it takes 5mins.
Have tried all the HP recommended diagnostic programs , downloaded a new driver and still it does not work.
Trying to get in touch with Hp is a nightmare looks as if it will be a trip to the tip and start again.
Any suggestions for a basic inkjet printer so that I do not fall into this trap again.
Thanks.

Their US site has live chat, which has the advantage of them not being able to go away without trying to solve it

I bought one a few months ago as my trusty Deskjet 880C finally gave up on me whilst I was in the middle of a rush job so I had to nip out to Staples to get one quickly. I wish I'd gone for something better now as it's absolutely useless for printing labels, it just won't align properly even though the settings are correct but I haven't had any of the problems you are experiencing - yet.
Which OS are you using? It runs OK on XP and Vista here although the paper handling is a bit on the vicious side. Have you tried deleting the software and re-installing? I've had problems with HP drivers in the past and this seems to cure the problem. Try just installing the basic driver without all the bloatware that comes with it.0
