Online comparison sites - incentives for new customers rather than switchers?

I have just bought a flat and completed last Friday. I need to hook up an electricity and gas supplier and I have tried looking for the best deal via a number of online comparison sites.

The comparison websites list incentives for customers who are looking to switch but do not seem to cater for new customers. I am not looking to switch because my rented flat's tenancy period overlaps the completion date on the flat I bought. The tenancy runs out at the end of the month and I will be staying in it until then whilst I decorate the new flat. I need utilities in both places so cannot simply switch.

Any suggestions on how to get an incentive as a new customer?

You take over with accounts from the existing suppliers. You then switch as usual through cashback site or comparison site of choice. No, you receive no incentive for taking over the supply.
