  • I think the words plague, like and avoid come to mind. I suppose there is a remote chance of it being genuine but not likely.

If you live near Egham in Surrey, you can come to collect it to save postage. Or I can go to London Waterloo to meet you but you have to pay me extra £10 for travel expense

  • Could it be that the seller used to live in Doncaster but has moved to Surrey?

Some of my auctions state the location as Birmingham but I moved to Suffolk a year ago.

Just wanting others opinions,i was scammed a couple of years ago and are trying to avoid it happening again,i know it states pick up available, but if a buyer wants this service whos to say he will give right adress or turn up,if it is a scam he wont be bothered about neg feedback, maybe the collect/meet phrase is a quote to put peoples minds at ease, its a big community out there and chances of anyone being in a position to pick up is very small, also why use gallery pics, and feedback is all obtained by 1p ebook auctions, these are the things i was told to look out for in a suspicious auction,bid/buy at your own risk!!
