Radiators are hot and have been on all day. The cold water taps run fine, but we get a small trickle, then nothing when we open the hot water taps ???
Any ideas what is wrong ?

it must of gone as it aint aint there now0 -
am on hold to emergency home cover we have
in meantime, looked up fault finding and think problem falls under:
boiler not operating during hot water demand (CH ok).
possible faults inc
do flow sensor test
or diverter valve
or control board18 minutes and counting (being on hold )

Not saying it's not a problem with the boiler but we had exactly the same problem 10 days ago and it turned out it was a iced over burst pipe, one day of thaw and it lep rip.
That was fixed but the same problem is back again today.
We have a combi boiler, if that means anything to the problem.
Hope I am wrong, for both of us.0 -

being passed pillar to post btw home insurer and home emergency provider0 -
It could be something as simple as a blocked inlet filter,
Or something serious as a scaled up heat exchanger....
Its not a Glow-worm is it??0 -

We had this yesterday - plumber set up fan in the attic and sorted the problem (he felt pipe blocked rather than burst as no evidence of leakage), we left the heating on and the hatch open overnight (didn't feel comfortable running the fan up there over night, so its sweltering in here
This morning hot water from the shower but no water in all tapsnow we have hot water in the bath taps and shower but none in the hot water taps in the upstairs and downstairs sinks
, I don't think we could make the house any hotter

Problem sorted. Man who installed our boiler two years ago popped by on his way to another emergency.
pipes were frozen, so we blasted them with a fan heater for an hour and whalla, HOT WATER:D:D
There are 5 pipes below our boiler, 1 gas, 2 for hot tap and 2 for radiators. Only gas pipe should be cold, rest should be hot - if not, possibly frozen (assuming everything else seems fine with the boiler).
