My Acer laptop used to be able to see our BT wireless router no probs, then suddenly it stopped
So hubby put it back on the wired network. Works OK.......
We've just got a new BT Home Hub - so hubby spent the afternoon setting it up, hoping new hub mught mean stronger signal and my laptop would be wireless again - no luck. However, it CAN see nextdoors signal across two garages and through two external brick walls........ The BT Home hub has been cranked up to 11 I am told........
Any ideas?

Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

The Bt Hub need to have some settings inputted into it, without these your pc has no chance of connecting to it. If i remember the codes are on the back of the hub. You would have been told to put them in at some stage of the set up. You should do the setup with the hub hard wired to the laptop first and then re run the setup disk again and follow the instructions
I have nothing better to do!!!!
