last year's offer was good, but now things have moved quite a lot and memory is cheaper. For a 256 mb MP3 i suggest to check this:
    http://www.aria.co.uk/productinfocomm.asp?ID=20905&SpecialStatus=1
    9.34 pound in vat

The thing is, buying from tesco is probably alot safer. These WILL fail within a year, I've bought countless cheap mp3's which all fail within the 12 months warranty. Places like tesco will not stock them in 12 months time at which point you get a nice and easy refund as oppose to paying postage to aria for their tech team to have a look at!

  • I got one of these last year and it still works great and is perfect for the gym when you don't want to get your nice player all sweaty and knocked around...

What sort of a daft comment is that?!

You mean they have a built in timer that then destroys the mp3 player before the year is out? You might have had a bad experience with them, but Tescos have been selling them for over a year so if thats the case they wouldnt stock them anymore if they were that unreliable.

What the heck do you do to them that makes them break so easily????

I assume the cost for aria delivery is about the same as tesco direct delivery... Both numbers mentioned here (12.95 GBP TescoDirect vs 9.37 GBP Aria) are just the total cost of the MP3 reader included VAT.

To this you have to add the respective delivery (I assume it is around 2-3 pounds for both shops but don't really know the precise amount).
Check tesco and aria sites for details on delivery, but will have to add it on both, so I don't think it will not make you decide for one or the other.
