İ live in Turkey where the winter is short and very contrasting to the normally hot weather. İ have single glazing with wooden recessed frames. i am looking for the best idea of insulating them without going over the top with plastic double glazing-i want something permanment and that wouldnt be affected by the extreme heat in summer---i have 4 balconies with doors that are all warped so i have to look at getting a carpender to straight them up-the balconies have plastic blinds that are fully retractable encasing them so i can shut out direct wind but the heat must be going out!--any practical ideas please

What are ther benefits and drawbacks of perspex 'liners'?
