I went into Burton on Friday and saw a cardigan I thought Mr.P would like. It was £46.00.

I went back today to buy it and the price labels had all been altered to read £48.00. They'd torn off the corregated price from the bottom of the label and put a new price sticker on.

Now, I know they're within their rights to do it, but even their web site still says £46.00 (the don't have the size I want though). It's a bit sneaky though.

Whe I paid at the till I bent the ear of the cashier who then sold me a store card so I saved £4.80 anyway, but Gah!

Be warned peoples.

The cardigan had a label on that said €67 £46 on Friday. In the shop.

Some of the old £46 signs had been scrubbed out with magic markers.
