Hi people,
Have to sort out a new card soon as really looking for interest free period in which to repay c/card.
I have a balance of £2000 and can afford to pay £250 off each mth if not more for time being.
The limit is £4k but Halifax ended the interest free period ages ago and the apr is about 15%.
I was declared bankrupt June 2005 and although equifax shows good score, experian shows good too but does show a default amount on my c/card from June and my bankruptcy.
Since then I have built up my credit history and always paid on time and have a loan comming to an end also.
Is it a good idea to apply for a new credit card if both agencies score me a 'good' or will I be declined as I was declared bankrupt in June 2005.
I only just got the Halifax c/card as I bank with them, initially they declined years ago but then rated it on my bank a/c history and salary.
