I had a ppi claim upheld by FOS and they have sent a letter to Lloyds TSB informing them of the fact. Lloyds have until 31.12.10 to respond.
However my claim was for a credit card I took out in 2001 and finished in 2007. If the banks are successful in the courts will this mean that they wont have to pay out because it was pre 2005.
I claimed on this credit card because I was just asked to sign the application form as I was taking out a loan at the same time and was convinced to take out ppi out on the loan (I have received a refund of this money from my loan but they rejected the cc claim).
Just asking because I am not sure what to do if Lloyds do not agree with the adjudicator, whether or not just to give up or go to the ombudsman.

Hi Michelle
I would not give up, this is Lloyds for us, but hopefully they will get back on the timescale, but if not, let it go to the ombudsman, if this happens then your likely to be awarded further redress for distress and the inconvenience it caused.
