Hi
In the evening, I park my car in an NHS doctor clinic which is next door to my flat. Their private car park is pretty big and it's always empty in the evenings. My car is usually gone by morning so I'm not doing any harm.
I went to my car this morning and found a sticker on my windscreen saying "Please do not park your car in this area. Your registration number has been noted".
I'm just wondering what exactly they can do if I continue parking there? Tow/Ticket etc? I would park my car in the street however it's usually quite busy and car vandalism happens regularly. I'm considering sending them a letter offering them a cash payment per month for using the car park, would this be a good idea?
Thanks

Well not a lot really unless they get clampers in there, but why don't you simply ask very nicely if you can park there in the evenings if you promise the car will be moved by say 8am before the surgery opens, its their land and they have a right to say for you not to park there, they could put bollards or gates to stop people parking there, be a good neighbour and respect the choice they make with you.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

I'm in Scotland so they won't be able to clamp luckily!!
Oh yeah, I won't continue parking there just to be spiteful. They've let me park there for the last two years without so much as a blink of the eye, it's just a bit out of the blue to receive this notice. I'm just a little wary of parking on the street due to the problems asbos are causing in the area. We’ve had to remove your signature. Sounds like a change of practice manager? Try Taffys suggestion.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Put yourself in their position, if it was your land would you like it if someone parked on it all the time without permission.
It would have been courtesy to at least ask them politely if you could have parked there.0
