Re-booking Virgin cancelled flights

Can those of us who have had flights cancelled share any way of contacting Virgin? I booked online so have to deal with them direct and have found it impossible to get through on any number so far. Long list of them on saynoto0870 but at no time of the day did I get a person.

Feeling it's unlikely to get a flight before Xmas (Los Angeles).

Any tips welcomed.

    I work for Virgin Holidays

I have a friend who has booked direct with Virgin Atlantic and she is stuck in Hong Kong supposed to be flying out to OZ with Virgin, It took her an hour to get through to them.

I would think you should get out to them but you will just have to hang on, I have just looked at the load checker to see what the flights look like to LAX and im afraid they look really busy before xmas, you might get there but I wouldnt think the chances are high on VA

Thanks. I thought as much and part of me has already accepted that. I count myself as very fortunate that I am still at home in the warm and on at the airport!
  • I had an awful time getting through to Virgin. Spent 2 hours on hold to the lose connection! Grrrr! The ONLY way I have managed to speak to them TWICE since my flight was cancelled on Sunday, was to have someone in the USA ring the 1-800 USA number. After them being on hold for over an hour, when they got through, they gave my UK details to the Virgin employee, who then rang me. If you have someone in the States who can ring for you, you may have more luck. HTH
