We were in Boots today, and my sister spent £30. The assistant pointed out the 10% off coupon in the mag and opened one to use!

There's also 200 extra points in the machine for Soltan suncare, which is on BOGOF anyway!

I tried the Soltan suncare points and BOGOF but only got awarded the points on one item and not both. Horror - have Boots changed the way their tills award points!!!

My Boots have always done it that way. When the Toni and Guy stuff was on buy 2 get 1 free the voucher from the machine only worked against 1 item. If I tried to use three vouchers it still only worked once.

It's also only been recent that I have been able to put through two meal deals and two vouchers in the same trasaction. previously to get points using ATM vouchers I had to put through each meal deal seperately.

Yeah, I noticed this a few weeks ago when getting No7 stuff with BOGOF. How dare they...

Problem: you can't get points when you spend your Boots points.

Solution: Buy something with your points. Return it next day unopened and get money put back on a giftcard which can then be used to get points with purchases.

Anyone try this yet? Does it work?

Awaiting three out of my four cds now although two aren't even out until next week and my big huge thumping box for my fathers day presnet so another £3 male grooming token there - will use one to get stuff for my dad and another for a lady on another forum.

thanks for advice i have written to boots today about the discrepancies. so will keep you posted on outcome. as for little me products i grabbed 3 today and was told by the assistant that the till was not pricing them correctly, they were going through at half price. i said i thought they were on a 3 for 2 as well all she said was that i could have half price and that was all!! so put them back
