Sorry I haven't visited Diary, It's been a busy week.
Had a manic day Friday running around for Mum to get the last few bits done for the wedding. Was in hobbycraft at 9am buying a cake topper - didn't have the exact one so I ended up buying a tube of paint and a tiny paint brush and painting one myself, it did have prink flowers allover it and now they're lilac - looked beautiful on the cake amd Mum was very happy.
Wedding on Saturday was wonderful, I'm so happy for my Mum, she really did have the best day of her life, a day full of tears and smiles. 100s of photos taken and plenty of drinks had.
Myself and my sister must have gotten through 4 bottles of champaign just ourselves. Needless to say I was not too well yesterday.
And whilst lounging (sleeping) on the sofa most of the day my wonderful OH popped to the shop and bought me some pain killers, a magazine, a bottle of lucozade and made me a bacon sandwich - I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have someone like him to take care of me.
So now it's a new week, the wedding fun is over and it's back to work. I'm also working this weekend but looking in the bright side - I'll have my leiu days to take (unfortunately we don't get paid for weekend working we just get time owed) so once OH sends me through an up to date rota I can start planning a long weekend or a couple of midweek days off with him.
I've got a few targets for the week:
- Go to the gym 5 days this week
- At least 4 NSD's this week (Mon-Sun)
- Finish painting the toilet
- Find a picture for the toilet
- Speak to OH Uncle re fitting Kitchen doors
- Clean the Oven
- Washing and Ironing
- Clean house top to bottom - It needs it!!
- Thursday - Go over the months finances and review
I think that's it for now, trying to stay positive, going to start planning our holiday this year, Scotland we think!

Hello!!
Been a while since my last visit and yes I'm racked with guilt!!
Life at the moment seems to be a continuous line of ever changing targets.
OH has had to pay out a hefty amount to fix his car and whilst the mechanic (a friend) was fixing his he looked at mine because is was being odd and would you believe I have a cracked head gasket.
To top that I accidentally washed my iPod with my gym kit and it's dead.
Last week I got to Tuesday and just couldn't take being at work any longer so used my well earned time owed to take the rest of the week off - my soul has now been successfully destroyed I just could not bear the idea of another day in that office. My decision has now been made and I am looking for a new job. We had decided it was best for me to stay put and hold out for redundancy but I've been holding out for 3 years now and it would be just my luck for the site to close as I leave but hey - I'm not going to sit around being utterly miserable waiting for things to happen.
unfortunately I have spent the last 3 years being gradually ground down into a drone, my work wardrobe leaves a lot to be desired, black trousers, jumper and pumps, it's time for an update so I've bought a few bits online to kick my confidence up a notch.
Not looking forward to the next few months of job hunts and interviews but I hope to be in a better place before long.
Odd update I know, not very MSE but It's all important and all effects my financial situation.
Happy debt busting to everyone!!

Hi Diary,
Yes it's been a few weeks again since my last entry but I'm not going to apologise as I've had LOADS to do!
I have been to 2 inteviews with a company I think i'd like to work for. It's not a step up but it's a step sideways into a position similar to mine now but in a slightly different industry. Which means loads of new skills to learn and loads more opportunities to further my career in a different direction.
I bought a new car!! yes I know I probably should have paid the £300 to fix a car which itself is only worth £500 but I feel better with a new car, fixed payment and 2 years warrantly, plus as I bought it through a relative I got free MOT (due in Sept) and £700 partX for a car only worth £250 trade!!
finances have gone completely out of the window this month, with bew suits to but for interviews, fuel for interviews, time off for interviews and the new car. Start again on Pay day not much I can do this month - I've run out of money!:o
I will be logging back in over the next few weeks to get myself back on the straight and narrow!! :AMarch GC £0/£150 - March NSD 0/24- £2 Savers Club #34Loan ~ £673.42/£9770.79 Credit Card @ 0% to Sep '11 ~ £487.18/£4627.79[STRIKE]Credit Card 2 ~ £270/£270[/STRIKE] :dance:Overdraft ~ £0/£350--->Start date 19Dec10 Target date 1Jul12<---0 -
I've been on the forum and got some brilliant advice from Domino9, very very helpful.
So in the style I got into this Money Saving shall continue. Lists!!
I've found my nw years resolutions:
1 - Set and achieve monthly Grocery Challenge targets.
2 - Set and achieve monthly NSD Challenge
3 - Pay minimum of £250 EXTRA off debt each month.
4 - Clear overdraft with cash from selling stuff on eBay
5 - Loose a stone (ish)
I'm going to have to change point 3 - with new car and travel to/from work going up I think i'll struggle with £250 so I'll reduce to £200.
So my To Do list as of now:
1- March Grocery challnenge starts for me today so £150 is my target! (which reminds me i need to go add peanut butter to my online order!!)
2 - NSDs these work for me so March will be 24!!
3 - Pay day I will pay off £100 off my loan and put £100 into saver.
4 - Sell more things on eBay
5 - Get down the gym 3 times a week
