VOIP SIP compatible service with incoming calls cheaper than sipgate?

I have an unlocked TA612V SIP adapter that has been unused for some time, I am looking to put to some use. I was hoping to have incoming calls at either local rate or an actual geographical number like those provided by Sipgate, but am overwhelmed by the apparent volume of providers out there. I was wondering if anyone had been in a similar position and was able to make any recommendations. Most of my calls will either be to UK landlines or mobiles. I was looking at www.voipcheap.com but the prices aren't that much cheaper and there seems to be hundreds of clone sites all the same with varying prices.
Edit: my landline is a Sky phone for which
UK Landline calls 7am to 7pm are 9.9p connection + 5.9p per minute (making Sipgates 1.19p per minute seem cheap)
UK Landline calls 7pm to 7am including weekends are free
UK Mobile 7pm to 7am are 9.9p connection + 7.5p per minute (sipgate is 9.9p per minute so landline is cheaper if call lasts 5 minutes or longer).
UK Mobile 7am to 7pm including those hours at weekends are 9.9p connection + 12.5p per minute (making sipgate's 9.9p per minute cheaper).
So in short, during the day a sipgate line would be cheaper to use.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. :A

Well you can use a few providers and set it up so you can use which ever is cheaper for any type of call. You need a PBX of some sort like PBXes.org. Check out NumberGroup too as they give UK numbers for free. What I do is use my VoIP service with Onesuite for calling out but for incoming calls I use NumberGroup phone number. I'm actually going to add my Google Voice and Gizmo into PBX account maybe next week. I'm new to PBX thing but it helps a lot managing providers and accounts.0

You could also use 3CX.com which is an easy to use voip PBX which can be installed on Windows. They have a free version which may have all the features you need.0

The whole PBX concept has gone over my head I think, lol. Need to spend some time to sit down and read about them. I guess if I ran the PBX on my own PC that would be a good excuse to get a net top to run 24/7 as a file and print server etc, and PBX. I would probably go the Linux route instead of Windows though.0

Online PBX like PBXes.org doesn't need to be installed in your PC. Hence it will work even if your PC is turned off. You only need to access it if you are going to change your settings or adding new numbers. It works fairly well with my Onesuite VoIP though I'm not using it much as I never even reach half of the 2000 minutes limit per month for free account.0
