Yh sorry on my phone typing this

I think I have bad sector on hd I have restored once after many tries as it didn't recognise that the c drive is there.

Have tried hdd regeneration it got so far and 1 bad sector was identified and soon after it wouldn't go any further with he scan.

Pc will work with restore but ONLY after a few goes at it I don't know if there is an issue with pc heat g up or anything else

As I said I have some pics and not sure whether I can post here.

    Not much better really

Run chkdsk c: /F, backup using disk imaging software

if you continue to have problems, buy a new hard disk

Yes already done check disk but came up with no probe, there is nothing to back up c drive was lost and obviously I used the restore disc that wiped my hard drive

  • I think if it is an option, one sure fire way to deal with it (assuming that the issue is software related and not hardware failure. Just back up all important files and do a fresh windows install.
also when doing a clean install from disc there should be an option to repair as opposed to clean install.

Also when you encounter the problem was there anything you can remember that seem to coincide with it? e.g installed new program etc...
