I applied for a Morgan Stanley Platinum last sunday. This will be used for cashback purposes. No 'real' debt will be put on it. I've yet to learn whether i have been successful in getting it. Now....i also want to apply for a 0% purchase card......for getting the xmas presents. Would it be wise to apply for one so quickly after the Morgan Stanley?

If youve not applied for any other credit deals in the last 6 months or so then any impact it will have should be negligible.0

Cheers.
Applied for a Capital One Platinum about 8 months ago and got it and applied for nothing since. 6 months prior to the Capital One card, i applied for 3 cards in the space of about 2 weeks (MBNA Platinum, HSBC Gold and Amex) and got them all so i guess i have a reasonable credit record.0
