best way to back up itunes?

As I had to replace my computers hard drive a few months ago I lost everything I had, including itunes. I'm now reinstalling itunes and want to know the best way to back it up. I'm clueless when it comes to computers, should I use a memory stick or is there something else I should use?

Would depend on size of music collection really less than 12gb id say just burn them to dvd, the downside being if your allways adding the odd tune here and there it becomes at bit impractical.Anything bigger id be getting a portable hard drive about £50.The memory stick is ok but they get dear beyond 12Gb.
Alternativly if your old hardrive is working it can be slaved back in and formatted(after Retrieval of old stuff) to give another drive/or put into a caddy for a more portable usb soloution.
As for all your playlists and the like im pretty sure theres an export/import abilty within Itunes. You can allways get the tunes back off the ipod if you havent synced it yet.Theres programs to do it or you can do it yourself.(I think one of my earlier posts explains how)
