dent repairs

ive got myself a dent in the rear quater panel of my car.

I see halfords have started repairing body work. Has anybody had any dealings with them..............

Why not try www.chipsaway.co.uk

I have used Chipsaway (Franchise) on two different occasions and to say that their finish is Carp is an understatement. Maybe others have different experience but in the Cambs area.......... Leave Chipsaway alone IMHO
I have since used CarMedic (Franchise) with a far better quality finish but TBH it is often how long the individual has been trading to the work quality you can expect

If you are an MX3 owner I would also look for help from other owners on the MX site

I can only say that my experience of chipsaway was excellent,perhaps the fact that it is done as a franchise is the reason work may vary from area to area.

I would agree with that and I understand that it is only done as franchise. :beer:

I had a dent in my car that did not damage the paint and called a local guy out who saved me a fortune. I was quoted £700 by a bodyshop and i got charged £150. He said it was on the larger side of what can be repaired but it looks great. Do a search on paintless dent removal or PDR

He came to my work and repaired it there rather than Halfords who i had to leave the car there and they said they didnt know if it could be repaired.

put a request in the public part of the forum here http://www.britishvaleters.org/phpBB2/index.php i am admin on this forum (steves cleenz) and we have valeters all over the country on here and im sure a valeter from around your area will be able to help you out by reccomending a smart repair in your area
