SandboxIE and AVG firewall

Hi guys,
I've recently been reading around the techie forums and came across the sandboxIE tool. Seems like a great idea. and when I've tried it, it seems to work very well.
There is one thing I'm having problems with.
I'm currently trialling a version of AVG internet security suite, but sandboxIE and the AVG firewall seem to be incompatible. If the firewall is enabled, then access to the internet is silently inhibited. Normally AVG asks if you want to allow or deny access to the internet. This can be tuned with black and white lists.
I've tried allowing access to all the sandboxIE programs, but this has not helped.
I've posted a query on the sandboxIE forum, but no response yet.
I read somewhere that sandboxIE becomes more of a system program than normal (has to be this to intercept all the file access activity). There are more things to tweek inside AVG, but I'm getting beyond my limit of understanding. I tried a few, and reverted them when they didn't work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ta,
Richard
