New Year's Eve event for 6 year old

It's my little boy's birthday on NYE and we fancy going away and doing something special. Does anyone have ideas on events or shows that are on in the UK? The only one I've found so far is a night in Alton Towers with party, dinner, etc for £400 - a little out of our budget. A panto or similar would be good.
Any ideas? help!
Thanks

in our area they have a new years eve party at the holiday in last time we went 2 years ago they had a all around the world cooked buffet very kid friendly food then have a disco after then we stayed the night and had breakfast in the morning and it cost us 130 for 4 of us 2 adults 1 child and a baby. you all share a room but they have there on bed we loved it.
butlins is also great at new year imagine its pricey though0 -
There should be plenty of pantomines around - for example, if you mentioned Alton Towers because you are looking in that general vicinity, Stoke's Regent Theatre is doing 'Robinson Crusoe and the Caribbean Pirates' with matinee and evening performances on New Years Eve,

Many thanks for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately due to the never ending snow conditions I think we are going to have to postpone our trip away. We live in Wales and don't want to be doing any long trips if there is the possibility of getting stuck on the motorway. So we may be going away in the spring, I hope the snow has gone by then, lol!Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0
