It might be worth asking before hitting the "close" button!

Personally I want to cancel the facility as soon as I can so I can get on with more stoozing and want my next statement to read zero, not a couple of pence which would delay the cancellation. If you are not worried about that side of things then it really doesn't matter much which way you do it.

Same here. I did a similar thing with Egg on their anniversary deal. OK - I lost a few days stoozing, but the statement read £0 and I was free to move on to pastures anew!

I seem to dimly remember that the 0% offer was not available to those who already had a Cahoot loan (or recently had one??) so if you are hoping for another offer in the future that's all the more reason for canceling asap.

By the way Miller I notice you have picked up a signature belonging to Payless (they all got mixed up recently). If you want to get rid of it click on the "User CP" link near the top of the page and then select "Edit Signature"

Hi just wanted to check something re the loan and my DD comes out 2nd March. Presently got the money sitting in my Cahoot savings account. From what Reaper said in the first post, I can transfer the money directly from Savings Account to Loan Account (same day transfer), therefore no problem transferring money on 28th Feb. DD will come out from my Current Account on 2 March, therefore I will be in credit. I can then transfer this credit amount back to my Current Account or my Savings Account. After which point I can arrange to shut the Loan Account down.

    Have I got this right?

    Thanks

Repayed mine by electronic funds tranfer - online with Abbey but, one annoying feature was that I could only transfer a max of £3k on the first time and had to do the remaining £7k the following day (weird). Anyway payment only took 2 days - wow.

My account balance is now £0 so I have requested the "close account" option.

    Just waiting to hear something.
