My elec/gas bills are the lowest they can be I did all the research when I moved in, re the car - I live in a rural village so without a car I can't get anywhere (we have one bus a day goes through the village!), and re the rent - have you tried finding somewhere to rent with 3 dogs??

Why do i find it odd that someone should ignore 2 posts giving advice that is direct and pertinent (especially fluffy's), partcularly where it correct previous posts that may include errors and yet they respond to other posts to state that they disagree with the opinion/advice stated?
Am I the only person to often see this as a somewhat odd?

I'm not "ignoring" any posts! I am going to ring the council tomorrow to get it all confirmed but being a first time "benefit claimer" I was asking advice on here - and of course I would find cheaper accommodation if i could but having 3 dogs makes it virtually impossible to find rented accommodation (oh and before anyone says it i've had my dogs over 7yrs and have been in full time employment until the last 2 months). I came on here asking for advice not criticism!
A home is not a home ..... without a dog

Calm Down, no need for all the !!!!

I was just observing that you failed to acknowledge Fluffy's rather erudite point and yet "bit" at a couple of remarks.

Another person might have responded "Oops, a bit remiss of me that, having got some good advice from someone, my bad". Still, that approach isn't for everyone.
  • Erudite? Oh Real1314, you'll make me blush!!!

Op, what did the council have to say?
