Installing Sky to second room.

Recently got sky plus and decided to use my old box as a freeview box in a second bedroom. I've connected the cable to the sattelite dish and initially had this working, however I am now getting the message stating "No satellite signal is being received"

I've tried another wire on the remaining slot on the LNB and I'm getting exactly the same message.

Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed.

Have you tried the sky box using one of the feeds currently being used for the Sky+ box or the sky+ box in the second room with just a single feed?

This should enable you to work out if the sky box has died or if there is a problem with either the cable or LNB

is your dish multi lnb?

if not then theres your problem.

We often get this message and have to power the box down at the mains, wait for 30 seconds and then switch on again. It then works for another few weeks.
