you can pick up silicon pastry brushes in poundland.
My fave kitchen items are silicon spoons, fish slices etc either completely coated or with metal handles. Nothing to melt or burn, and no food wasted in pans or bowls.
My most used best loved items were only 99p - turbie towels for my hair - they absorb so much better than normal towels and are so much more handy.
A long handled dustpan and brush from the 99p store (bargain) make cleaning up easier
Bed socks and hot water bottles!
A 7 day pill dispenser - I had such trouble keeping track of if/when I'd taken my tablets before I got it.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -

The best money ive ever spent was the 3.30 on a home pregnancy test, and the result from that which is now by beautiful little boy..even screaming his head off at 2am, he still is the most precious thing in the whole wide world.
Oh god I must be broody, this brought a tear to my eye!
As for my five pound life enricher, someone would have to invent a small machine that rubs butter and flour together for a fiver. It's the one thing I can't stand to do!:heartpulsSpoiling my two baby girls with love - it's free and it's fun!:heartpuls
I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?

Other would have been a new george foreman (more than £5) but the inlaws have kindly got us one for christmas
If you have a branch of Maturi kitchen shops near you they have a very small measure - a bit bigger than an expresso cup. About £2.50 ish.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

I don;t wear much make-up, but do like a lippy to cheer me up (though I'm determined not to buy any more until I use the ones I've got

As this isn;t strictly Old Style, I'll move this thread to the Shop Don;t Drop Board.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies.
