it would have to be my electric tin opener. Only £4.99 from L*dl about 6 years ago. I use it every day, Never used a manual tin opener since. And I only buy value tins, so none of them have them ringpulls.
Definatley a fiver well spent for me.Happy days

It would have to be my drawer organisers (sad I know) Not sure how much they cost originally but I only paid £2 for them in a charity shop a few weeks ago. I have put one in my tights/sock drawer and one in my undies drawer. I cant tell you how much hassle and stress this has saved me already every morning :j0

Something that measures out small amounts of water for making cakes etc so I can throw away the boys old baby drinking cup which has markings up to 60ml on the front of it. Never seem to see one, but guess I dont look either.
Other would have been a new george foreman (more than £5) but the inlaws have kindly got us one for christmasMum, wife and dinnerlady!0 -
i just want a tin opener! everytime i buy one it dosent last five minutes, and i am fed up with it, i would really love a tin opener that lasts, not expensive , obviously and whizzes open the tins in a few seconds instead of about 15 mins of me getting stressed, as they quickly get as blunt as old Harry,0

Yeah they never seem to look very clean even after washing.... mine came from a gadget filled kitchen shop and cost about a fiver but it's bright bright turquoise and that's my favourite colour and I'd been meaning to get one

I didn't really need it but it was screaming "buy me", and I'm so glad I did. It really cheers the kitchen up (I don't have enough cupboards in the flat to put pans away so it sits on the back ring of the hob).
I'm doubly pleased as similar on Amazon are about £39, and those are just plain colours.
I'm going to second you on this!
I have several vintage painted enamelled saucepans that I have bought over the years. They've lasted since the 60s/70s and are still going strong. And they look so lovely too. I don't think I've ever paid over £3 for one at a car boot and most came from jumble sales (back when there were still jumble sales!). DFW Nerd 941 Proud to be dealing with my debt

Great little jug :TI, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

This may sound a bit daft but - a bottle of Dettol mould and mildew remover. Since having double glazing put into our house we've found it very difficult to ventilate and keep the humidity down (but a lot easier to heat!). As a result the bathroom had horrible looking grout and was really starting to make me feel down when I used it. I tried scrubbing with bleach etc. but it just didn't seem to work. Someone here recommended the Dettol and WOW! My bathroom became white and shining again in an afternoon and it just makes me feel so much better everytime I go there now.Old-Style Enthusiast :j0

The best money ive ever spent was the 3.30 on a home pregnancy test, and the result from that which is now by beautiful little boy..even screaming his head off at 2am, he still is the most precious thing in the whole wide world.0
