upon further investigation the account was £3 short of what was required for the first internal transfer in october and then obviously short again in novemeber

cant say nationwide collections were particularly helpful but i have made the arrears payment online and it should be there tommorow (3 working days from monday)

think its worth a letter of complaint?

How can you complain? For two months there was insuffcient funds in the account to make the payment, why is this Nationwides fault. Just pay the arrears, ask nicely if they are willing to cancel any charges and chalk it down to experince. Good luck.

No, as you've taken responsiblty for your mothers financial affairs.

The NW have done nothing wrong.
