It's highly debated but my opinion is that Plasma is best. LCD's are too artificial and computer like IMO.Whats the best plasma or LCD Whats the differance please ?
I don't think you will find a Plasma made in 32" sizes, they start at 37" minimum but only 42" are FullHD.
You can use any external box if you desire, having an inbuilt tuner won't stop external boxes being used. Also i know these new tvs have freeview can i still use my sky box instead ? Or can i add channels if i dont want to use the sky no more ? Thankyou
Many new TV's have Freeview HD tuners which is being rolled out across the country so it might be worth looking for one which has that. Or get one without a Freeview HD tuner might get it at a lower price as they won't be wanted by many people very soon.
Have a look at the following forum for UK AV products and people's experiences of them>

Just to add, do not disregard 720p TVs in 42". Unless you're going to sit 5ft or closer you'll not notice the difference between 720p and 1080p. And unless you're watching a blu-ray movie, SkyHD and Freesat/FreeviewHD aren't broadcast in 1080p anyway.0 -
The idea that Richer sounds don't sell rubbish is rubbish..........they used to sell "Acoustic Research" stuff, didnt they, thou i notice they dont now.0

Nobody never said that they don't sell rubbish, they just don't sell Tesco TV level rubbish.
However, even you admit they no longer sell AS stuff. The Onkyo gear BTW is very good and so is Onkyos support. I emailed them asking if it was possible to program the AV remote to operate my Panny and I got a reply in a few hours. The answer was no but it was a personal reply and not an automated response.0 -
I bought this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260695483868&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_4786wt_1141
It has a few marks on the stand but otherwise is perfect, a 32inch TV for £190 delivered!!! Beat that!0
