Did you actually read what dozens of others said in your legendary thread?

If you did, you certainly ignored it all.
  • whats he spending his money on, is it acceptable as a husband (ie drinking, drugs, women etc)..
why is your husband using these companies. Is it essential spend basic food, heat etc

I have a serious internet buying habit can easily spend £500 a month, but i sell alot of dvds, CDs so overall i'm getting to watch a film or burn a new CD for a couple of quid a time, i also like to bet on the footy results, but i can control my spend. When you start burning money on foolish things you either sit back and take it in, stop and move on or you get in deeper

If my partner started addictions such as hard drugs, serious gambling or the like
I'd be tempted to get a clean break. Although I've had a good upbringing i know right from wrong, I've not had any major mental stress in my life, so i can say that ! others can't

Betting the football is serious gambling.

I'd prefer they read what I wrote first. They are suggesting that not everyone fails to pay back their pay day loans. It might surprise them to learn I have never failed to pay back a pay day loan either (this is the reason I can borrow the max from all the companies because I have such an excellent repayment record with them all, I may have had a case where I was unable to pay them back ON TIME, but they were eventually repaid in full). SO they obviously have not been reading anything I have been writing.

This from a person who prefers to spend £300 a month on online gambling than heat the house his children live in, yet claims that his gambling isn't a problem ...

Aren't payday loan companies capped in Germany and France? Indeed, I think only banks can offer credit in Germany?

    Who said that?
  • gambling a fiver a week on the footy is not serious gambling, If i went to the pub and only had a pint each half, I'd spend more

something is only serious if you are prone to become addicted in my youth i did lots of things that looking back i woulkdn't be doing week in week out now !! people grow up , go through stages in there life, if you can't make it out the other side you end up dead, bankrupt, diseased, or old before you time

You did. As you well know - or did the bank force you to gamble away money that could have been spent on heating? Don't get me wrong - I have every sympathy with someone who has a serious addiction but you seem to think you can solve your problems while continuing to spend at the same rate

And I agree with whatyadoinsucka - a few quid a week on the pools or quiz machines or whatever, if you can afford it, it no more wasteful than buying a book or a dvd every week.

I dont care on personal circumstances surrounding betting football...but when I see 40 football thugs kicking seven shades of sh*t out of one person sporting the opposite scarf I know that at least 1 in 40 must have had some amount of money involved that has fuelled their rage, in addition to the alcohol and apparent lack of brains they have (evident by the fact they'd gladly routinely waste 90 minute of their life watching guys run around a field who earn more per month that they will in their life)

Sports betting ("i've no issues with my gambling") types paid for my christmas last year though..so carry on ;)
