Hi,
I have just opened my bill off ntl, and note that yet again, they are saying due to a change in my account, ie use of a different service (not the case) they will be billing me a month in advance so next month I will pay 2 months upfront, well nothings changed so i cant see why this should be????? They have done this to me before and when you call they blind you with science over your bill, you need to be a lawyer to understand it anyway!!! I am thinking of telling them to stick the lot this time as several times they have done this to me, so I am wondering how much up front they actually would owe me should I leave.
Anyone had this before, any help would be great

Hi Sam,
You say they have done this before? wouldn't this mean that you are already paying a month in advance??? what sort of excuses do they come out with when you call them? I only ask as I work for a communications provider (but only for businesses unfortunately) and deal daily with line rental and call costings.0 -
NTL have recently merged their bills into one - I used to get two bills every month (one for TV, one for broadband/phone). They then aligned the dates of the two bills so they were on the same timeline, then this month merged the two.
Not without incident mind - they were charging me twice for line rental (once as part of the Family Pack - the £30.50 includes £11 line rental already - and once as a separate amount).
Make sure you're not being charged double for things...0
