I use Outlook at work and my other computer uses Outlook Express - is there nothing like these in Windows 7

Because people complained about MS bundling in software, things like an email client were left out. You can download one from http://get.live.com as part of the Windows Essentials package. I would also suggest getting the Photo Gallery software as well which is part of the same package as it has basic photo editing.0

I hate Live.
I've put an old Office on mine and installed Outlook, a few patches, updates etc. from Microsoft and all is fine again.too foreign for diplomatic or PC answers, too poor for a sig0 -
I'd also suggest Mozilla Thunderbird, but if you have a copy of office you can install with Outlook, that's even better. Thunderbird doesn't have a calendar, although you can add one with a bit of fiddling.

if you use hotmail then it integrates with live mail the best, also is fot install live photo gallery, live movie maker, and live mesh (backs up selected folders to the cloud), they all just are very nice programs for windows.
or usually the best interface is actually the webmail esp. for hotmail and gmail.0 -

One excellent, freeware, lightweight email client with good functionality that is similar to Outlook Express is EM Client. I definitely recommend giving it a try. http://www.emclient.com/
