best thing to do keep the high value vouchers eg £1 off at the top of the pile then if they will only take 2 or 3 coupons make sure they take the high value ones.
Also coupons can be found in Asda/Tesco mags free instore and in some womens mags
keep looking on here for tips especially the daily paper thread and mag threads
Good luck
ps also do you have a tesco clubcard as lots of opportunities there to get points and order free xmas gifts eg mag subs/meals out etc0 -

I tried to print a copy of the Oxy one (as I actually want to buy some of their products, for once) but cannot do it. I never can when it's a pdf voucher, have tried installing Adobe Reader or whatever but still doesn't work on my pc.
Does anyone have the Oxy one saved to a word document and could pm me a copy, or post a printable copy here for others who haven't got it?
Thanks if anyone can help!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I found out today that the tills have been programmed to limit coupons to 3 pounds and this is due to the fact that ''there were some coupons in the Asda magazine that should have been 30p off and were scanning at 'much more' said the SA''...I just said oh...lol...
Whether they will leave the tills programmed like this or remove it after the expiry date of the coupons who knows..... all I know is that I keep causing a big hold up when I am handing in my Luncheon Vouchers and they 'exceed' the limit.0 -
It seems to me that most of the staff had been briefed on coupons. I had two telling me that they would only accept vouchers equal to 10% of the shopping basket.
First I bought a PS2 game at £17.99 and a Sunday news paper ( paid at the electrical section) and I gave the guy a £5 Olay superdrug voucher and a £1 printed one. Fair play to him, he did take the £5 one but said only that one (because he "SHOULD only accept 10%").
I did some more shopping and the total was £8.88. The checkout girl said I could use vouchers upto the value of 88p! I only had £1 ones so she took one of them.
This was at the ASDA at Cribbs, Bristol.0 -
My understanding is that the £3.00 limit has been programmed into the tills and therefore is nationwide but the number of duplicate coupons, percentage of your shop etc is down to the individual store manager.
I will be delighted if they re-program their tills when those Asda coupons expire as it's a real nuisance to try and split my shopping up into smaller lots.0
