Copying programs from Sky+ box to pc?

We're selling our sky+ box as we're cancelling our subscription and have freeview built into our tv, but the trouble is we have quite a few things recorded on the sky+ box that we want to keep and we don't have a video or DVD recorded (Except on the pc)... is there anyway of copying the programs from the sky+ box to the pc? We've noticed that there's a USB port on the sky+ box and nothing in the manual says what it's for...

You can't do it via the USB port I'm afraid In fact as far as I know the USB port is completely useless at the moment.
A TV capture device such as this should allow you to do what you want to. I haven't tried this one so I don't know if it's any good but hopefully someone else will be able to recommend one.0
