MBNA Business? Hah! What is a better business card?

in Credit cards
We have had an MBNA Business Card for seven years and always paid any balance by Direct Debit.
This year we had a renewal charge of £54 which includes Travel Insurance for which I am no longer covered. I'm just 66!
After ELEVEN minutes getting through pressing buttons calling Business Customer Services I get some snotty guy asking for all my security detail AGAIN and then tells me they will not refund the £54. Then made some, at least, disparaging remarks about making sure we paid off any outstanding amount before they would close the account.
What price customer loyalty here? :wall:
So, after my whining, any advice as to a more user friendly Business Card agent?
Preferably with zero charges for foreign transactions.
So a :xmassign: to all.

Many banks offer business credit cards - who is your business account with?
I know of no bank that will do free foreign business transactions for you.
Could you not use a personal credit card such as Clarity or Zero for overseas transactions then get the business account to pay them off?0 -
For business I've generally found personal cards work better. Even if a limited company, business cards typically want personal guarantees - so you're no better off.
Different story if you're a very big company/gov department getting cards for your staff. (Perhaps you are.)0
