NPower have a boiler cover package where you get half back if you don't claim. But if you don't claim then you've wasted half the money, so just keep your own emergency fund unless you fancy the peace of mind.
Being in a rented house I don't have such cover, but I believe BG are one of the biggest, do some research see who has mostly positive feedback.Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0 -
What I have is Barclays emergency cover, around about £70 per year.
During 4 the years I have been with them, I have had need to have a engineer to get my boiler working twice. The first time I could have done it myself, however I thought no lets see if they are worth it.
They came the following day, and explained how I could have got it to go again myself, I didn't say I know, best to act dull sometimes. The second time it failed a few days after it was serviced, and again out in 24 hours. I do believe that you have to have house and contents insurance with them also.
And they do try to rise my premium every year, I phone and say I am going to leave them and they keep it as it was. I have never claimed on my home insurance so how this works I don't know.0
