We were there a few years ago, didn't see much sadly as we were all inclusive. It is supposed to be the busiest resort on the island, but don't worry it's not 'ibiza' busy ! From out balcony we could see Lanzarote, which looked lovely at night ! I'm sure you still can, but there were day trips on offer across to Lanzarote from Corralejo. Hope someone has been there more recently to give you some more info !
We went in November, and make sure you take something warm for the evening (cardi, fleece) as it got a bit chilly.
    Have fun
:D I am in the future you know...
...9 hours ahead to be exact !:D

Corralejo has the best beach in Europe. The sand dunes there are part of a national park. Things to do: All watersports, visit waterpark, jeep safari, camel safari (from Lajares), quad bike riding, visit African Market on Mondays & Fridays, take a boat trip to Lobos or a ferry to Lanzarote (crossing only half an hourish).

Would recommend car hire as it is very reasonable or alternatively there is a really good bus service. Places to visit: Lagoons at El Cotillo (20 mins by car - lagoon area, north of village is protected by a reef & great for snorkelling, other beach to south is top surf beach frequented by only the most serious surfer enthusiast & not for the amateur) El Cotillo also has good seafood restaurants.
Good shopping centre 'Rotundas' in Puerto del Rosario. American Star shipwreck or Cofete site of former Nazi rest home reputedly built by Hilter as a recuperation centre for top Nazis during WW2 - never been there as you need 4 wheel drive.

One of my favourite restaurants is the Avenida which is just down the road from Hipo Dino which is the biggest supermarket in Corralejo so you should find it easily. The portions are HUGE so you will need to starve all day beforehand and it is really reasonably priced. it's very popular so you need to get there early evening.

Hope this helps a bit - pm me if you want any more help.
