Final Demand!!!!

Not sure what to do about parking ticket.
My partner got a parking ticket back in June in my car. He'd returned back to the car to add more money to the meter but the meter wouldn't accept his coins. He went to nearby shops to change the coins but when he returned there was a ticket on the car.
Now, he contacted them within 7 days of the ticket being issued explaining the situation and that as it was a fault with the meter not accepting his money he would like to appeal the fine. No response was received.
Then 4 months later I (as registered keeper I suppose) I got a letter advising that the fine was increasing. Again my partner contacted PPS and called the BPA and sent an email including the previous correspondence. Again no response.
I wanted to get the matter closed and didn't want to assume that they'd written it off as they'd taken so long to increase the fine. So I then sent a letter by recorded delivery last week enclosing the previous correspondence and emails trying to get to the bottom of this. I was hoping rec del would mean they wouldn't ignore me. No response... ...until today.
I've received a FINAL DEMAND from debt collectors for the full amount to be paid by tomorrow!!!! It also states 'despite numerous requests for payment'. I've never heard anything apart from the increase in fine.
Now the thing I have noticed on the demand from the DC is that the address is wrong and is actually someone else's address so not just a spelling error etc. I assume the reason I received it is because it came with about 5 other letters this morning so the postman just bundled the names together rather than the addresses (IYKWIM).
But the PPS must have had my correct address as they wrote to advise of the fine increase (but no reference to our previous correspondence appealing) Also, I clearly stated my address on the letters I've sent.
So what do I do? Because it's the wrong address do I ignore it, and write to the PPS again ? Just not sure what to do?
All suggestions greatfully received

Its not clear but I assume this is not a council parking ticket. If correct then just ignore them. There is nothing they can do. You will get a few more letters, probably in different colours and with pretty borders, then nothing more. Come back if you need more reassurance. Most of the posters have been where you are and so far not one case has gone beyond the "dire threats"I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

If they have been in contact with the BPA then its not council I should think

Anyway if its not the council then completely and utterly ignore them and their cowboy attempt to get your money, the invoice is not enforceable and they will not take you to court, and they will not blacken your credit rating etc, to be sure can you give the name of the company issuing the invoice.
If its these then IGNORE
http://www.premierparkingsolutions.com/Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Yes it is Premier Parking Solutions who issued the ticket and it is CCS Collect who have issued the final demand0

Both companies are well known on here and can be ignored. Do not contact them again and you will be OK.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Excellent thanks.
What about the fact that we've already contacted them? Are they more likely to keep chasing us as they know that we're slightly hooked into the process?0 -

Probably, but they will eventually give up on you. You don't owe them a penny. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

Wouldn't it be wonderful if it was a final demand? But I suspect it will be followed by a final, final demand. Pathetic really. Just let this outfit run down its finances sending daft letters.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0
