Thanks for that! I wonder if the who hah I caused last week wil emailing buth DB and PB at my disgust at changing the policy has affected this? OH has another £5 voucher to deposit so I'll see if he can withdraw it stright away.

Or was it a different type of comp and you gave them more details? Or did you do the sign-up for 1,000 points?
If it was just a standard comp, and they've passed details through to BCA, they've broken their own "no junk mail" guarantee - "we NEVER sell, rent or share any of your personal information...."
They've also potentially broken all manner of Data Protection laws regards use of personal data. Anyone affected should make a complain to the Information Commissioner - https://www.ico.gov.uk - who has the powers to rebuke and fine PB if they're found to have broken the law
I just entered the quiz and haven't received any book club deliveries, yet! *ducks to avoid unwanted books flying through the air*
It does seem strange that so many who use pigsback have had them and it coincides with them being featured on pigsback. I wonder, though, if they could have got the names and addresses from somewhere else, on the basis that people doing pigsback often do all manner of other sites.
Just wondering.... because of their strict no junk policy... not trying to defend pigsback if they have given out our details :eek:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. I have no idea at all what I entered (I don't remember anything about bookclubs)- dh and I both have PB acounts and I am the only one to have got the parcels - so I'm not sure. I have not complained to PB as I don't know it was one of their comps or not.
I just know I didn't sign up for any bookclub.

Reading post #302, the poster had her 'junk email' quoted, not the email she uses for pigsback, its probably a coincidence that we all use this site and all enter the same offers / comps.

She quoted my email address, which is my junk hotmail one, so I don't think it could have come through pigsback as I use my proper one for them.
However, she said to keep the book with their compliments and the account was cancelled. Hurray!!
I did this today too and hooray! What a relief! Got to keep the book RRP £16.99) and they were very nice about it... Aunties chrimbo pressie in the bag!!!
Thanks everyone....looneyleo0
