  • I want to place an order at CDWow using a £5 off voucher from another thread, to do so I have to go through the link in the email they sent me. Is there anyway I can combine this to get piggypoints as I wont be going through the pigsback website. Hope that makes sense. Thanks DK

Go through Pigsback as normal. No guarantee of getting any points though. Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. I employ the rule of if the item is under £10 I use a voucher and hope to get the points. If its over £10 I don't use a voucher thus guaranteeing I receive the points. This is normally using a £1 / £2 voucher. However I ALWAYS go through PB just in case I get the points.

  • Oh, the Garlik saga goes on.

I didn't get my points, so I emailed them attaching the confirmation email, as follows

    Hello

I still have not received my 50 points for registering with Garlik on 9 November. Please could you advise.

    Thanks

So then I get this reply

    Please clarify your query?

    Thanks for your mail,

    Kind Regards,

    Lynn

    So I reply

    Hello

I still have not received the 50 points for registering with Garlik - I'm not sure what else I need to clarify?

    So I get this reply

Are you looking for PiggyPoints for registering with Garlik?

    Thanks for your mail,

    Kind Regards,

    Lynn

Err - yes. Perhaps I didn't make it clear :wall: Starting to annoy me now.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Ebay Customer Support :rotfl: :T :T No there's a difference. Ebay actually take years to respond or never respond at all. Either way ebay don't care if you've just been scammed out of £50k.

I wonder if they're using some sort of auto responder thing like O2 used to use (probably still do) that tried to answer your question based on keywords in your e-mail. It was really annoying. It's just like these things on the websites where they have a box claiming to answer your question, you put in a reasonable question and it says sorry I could not find an answer etc.

I think pigsback have rotten customer service I too recieved a very rude and curt reply to my last email- and its not been the first. I have now decided to stop purchasing things through pigsback links and use my other cashback sites. I will just now go for my totally freebie clicks ,if they cant be polite I will click elsewhere. :p

That email never works for me, it always comes back as undeliverable. I've sent a whole new email now rather than just replying to Lynn's, in the hope that someone else might pick it up.

I have to admit Im suprised that a reply from the CS is described as rude. I have never had any real problems with responses from PB but maybe that just down to having my query checked by Lynne, Darragh or Ciara.

It may be worth replying and mentioning that you feel their repsonse was inappropriate in whatever way?

    Hi all,
My OH ordered a boots voucher on the 15th November soon after they reduced the points needed for rewards. He got a letter from the delivery office today that the postage hasnt been paid and he has to pay 1.23£ to collect a letter. When I called them up,they said its from Empathy Marketing.I know that we saved 150 pp but did they mean that they will be posting rewards without postage?? Iam really annoyed and we can collect it only on saturday. He has emailed PB but with the kind of responses people are getting, iam not very hopeful.. Has anyone had this kind of experience before??

    Thanks in advance

Could anyone who's signed up to Valuemail let me know if it's absolutely necessary to put your mobile number in to qualify for points? It's just that my screen is broken, and since I don't text much, I've got no intention of replacing until the sales! Also, what exactly does Valuemail do? Is it a trial that we need to cancel, or is it permanently free? The T&Cs are mystifying! Thanks very much indeed for any help with my Valuemail confusion!!
