  • My (grown-up) daughter has an account. Although she has her own place , she quite often uses my computer to access her piggy account. The account is registered to her own house so hopefully it should be ok

It is quite in order to have multiple accounts in one household, so long as each member accesses the site personally. Many "old-timer" piggies here have husband and wife accounts, and some for the kids, too.

Until now, we have been connecting via dial-up, but when our ISP finally pulls its finger out, in the next few days hopefully, we shall have broadband. (It's only just reached our village!) This is significant because each time we sign on on dial-up, our PC is given a different IP address. On broadband, your pooter always has the same IP address. (Your IP address is monitored by PB and other sites you go to). So they know when you visit and for how long, for example.

Just email them to explain, and perhaps in future, leave some time between each other's access to PB.

Hope this makes sense and helps.

Now you see this could be a problem for me as well  I access pigsback of a morning before the school run (DD clicks on the links here and answers the questions while I do her hair so all she's doing is being an extra pair of hands...but she's loving it!) and then OH accesses it of an evening when he gets in from work but if he's due points or something I might log in (upon his request) to see if they've come through so it can dealt with during office hours. I just try to remember to log off as soon as I am done so I have to log in every time I click on a link so I don't accidentally do something to OH's account instead of mine ;)

they did this to me and my mum, as we both have the same name, and she had been doing her clickthru's at my house. i phoned pigsback to explain, and they opened my account back up, but told me that my mum also had to phone up to get her account opened again. this we did, and have had no problems since.

Just want to say thanks to all who post answers and ways of getting your piggy points up.

Today I've had a mega Xmas shopping day out with my mate, and dinner time had a big piggy pig out at Pizza hut (all you can eat buffet) all courtesy of Pigsback, using a £10 leisure voucher.
    Thanks guys.

    And now I'm stuffed!:rotfl:
