Has ebay been quiet for everyone since Friday!

I've had a couple of items end today and whilst they have both sold they went for less than i thought i'd get for them - early bidding was brisk but hardly nothing happened over the weekend.

just had an email back from one of my auction winners - aparently his car has been written off yesterday in a crash and he no longer needs the wheels.

Aaaaaaaargh!

Had a funny feeling about him as he was a newbie with zero feedback. I've offered them to the second highest bidder and will see what he says.

Most of my stuff today has been selling for just the opening bid, despite having several watchers.

Watching should not be allowed, they should have to bid at least once to be able to watch an auction.:D

But this does not apply to me as I am watching several with no intention of bidding.;)

sold 20 items last sunday, sold 4 this sunday, and its the same items for sale.

Even my best sellers are not selling. Strangely though the things i wanna buy have more bidders than last week. :mad:

Stopped selling end Sept. to go on holiday, last sale bombed. Sold all my items this weekend so I suppose its just one of these things.

A few suggestions, kids have been off school for half-term...it's cost me a fortune, may be the same for others. People making sure they spend this months pay on kids pressies first. Very Mild weather so people may have gone out for the day. Sometimes ebay runs slowly at the end of the cheap day listing and this can be frustrating so people don't bother going on the site.

I have to say I have had a very good weekend. Last weekend none of my items sold. I relisted them and reduced the opening prices, and they all nearly doubled what I started them for when they finished this weekend. I was really pleased. I am now of down the post office to send the Items.

I did really well yesterday. Out of 15 items, 12 sold, and one of those was a shower gel that went for £27 :eek:

I'm going to be spending ages packaging items up now, and getting funny looks from the queue in the post office
