Help!!! Daisy's diet..opinions needed.

While I've been out of work I've been forced to feed Daisy on whatever wet food is on offer at the shops,Whiska's,Felix or KitE Kat & for dry it was Purina One.
(I drew the line at the really cheap stuff!)
Anyway,I start a new job in the new year so I intend to feed her on a better quality of food.As I did'nt get my bag of Royal Caninmthey sent me a bag of their Exigent Savor Sensations, which she loves!!! :wow: so the dry is sorted now...

But for her wet food, what would be good for an indoor furball who is fussy?...
She's not to keen on the P@H Purely so it's a toss up of these;
(She wont eat gravy!)

Royal Canin is great as a complete food and I have 2 on the Exigent at the moment (mixed with the Light as they are both rather podgy!). So you don't HAVE to supplement with a wet food.

My third cat eats mainly wet food as he has very few teeth left due to gum disease, but he loves RC too.

Make sure you are signed up for P@H newsletter as they sometimes have 24 hour BOGOF sales on RC and you can stock up!

Thanks,I have to leave Daisy a bowl of wet because in the year & a bit I have had her,I have never seen her drink any water! So she gets her moisture from the wet stuff.
(Maybe I should've added that to my post..slap me,I'm stuupid!)

She's a house cat & even tho I leave a bowl out for her,she never seems to drink from it so the wet is her main food & the dry is a snack.

My two have ceramic flower pots from Ikea (bargain corner, of course) for their drinking bowls. They love them as they keep the water cold in the summer and are tall enough that they don't have to crouch to drink from them.

For feeding (dry food) they have big silver dog bowls with non-slip feet. Holds a big scoop of their kibble. For wet food, they have tesco value side plates and bowls - plain white (which is different from the blue that humans use!) - they now know when they see the white crockery coming out that it's treat time.

Wet food wise, they're very fussy. Won't eat anything cheap but adore Applaws and Cosma. We only buy it when it's on offer, either from PAH or Zooplus. Fortunately we've got a garage (that they don't go in) where we can store these things, cos when they're on offer, we buy a lot...
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Raw - any meat - is actually excellent & can be v cheap
Burns - dried excellent & with no additives (no point spending more than necessary - use the extra cash for something nice)
Bozita - wet pate in tetra packs - much better than anything supermarkets sells

Where is the water bowl? If it's next to her food bowl then she won't like it, they don't like their water next to their food. Something to do with contamination of the water supply in the wild, you know like if you're camping then you're not supposed to drink downstream of where you wash. Sort of like that.

Anyway my cat won't touch her water if it's next to her food, so we keep it in a different room and she drinks loads.
