Whilst I know that a lot of people don't like ANY of the indices we would have to pick one to act as a reference point in any predictions thread. I say we go for Land Registry and the most recent issue was on 26 Nov 10 with an average price of £165,505. This is likely to be revised a little but lets say its not.
Between now and the report at the end of November 2011 it would be interesting to see what people feel the change in prices would be (and just straight comparison so that if it is £165,505 then my 0% wins).
Anyone else prepared to predict (and I will update in a week or so to show the table). No problem if you want to predict the same as someone else but it would be less interesting.

Thanks for joining in, after deducting a percentage for spelling and grammar I find that your prediction is exactly the same as mine:

Like you think anyone would take you seriously. And as for advice, I've only seen three of your posts but there is one thing of which you can be certain, I won't be taking any of yours.0 -
Dirk_Rambo wrote: »you seems a bit upset m8. may-be you should label youre vote - bulls only -to avoid any confussion
I'll give that some thought (although I think you will have created sufficient confusion with your posts).0 -
Dirk_Rambo wrote: »good luck with youre vote m8. i hopes you gets the results your looking for
Actually I think I'll drop it. If there is even one more like you I'll spend more time explaining the context then I've got time for. Anyone interested in having such a prediction thread then I'm happy to join in.By the way, I don't think my 0% prediction was particularly bullish.

Rewired seems to like your posts though, does he/she actually post or just vote (seen some evidence of this type of voting on other sites)?0

Sounds like you mean it but I think there might be too much interference on the site to be able to manage such a topic. It works elsewhere but the quality of the least capable poster looks to be significantly higher over on those sites (without trying to offend anyone any more than necessary). Would have been interesting though as both bulls, bears and neithers are forced to make some kind of statement rather than just providing wooly statements without being held to account.0 -
