in Credit cards
Hi all
I am a little confused and wondering if this is correct, any advice would be greatly appreciated :0)
6th dec 2010 purchased an item for £632.35
Received my estatement dated 7th dec 2010
Credit limit £1,100.00
Available to spend as
at 07/12/10 £338.62
Previous balance £40.73
Payments received £40.00
New transactions £760.65
Your new balance £761.38
Your payment details
Minimum payment £38.07
Payment due date 02 Jan 11
Then after receiving my estatement on the 7th dec 2010 they put my credit limit to £2,100.00.
11 th december 2010 the £632.35 item was refunded back onto the card.
My current balance is now £201.01.
Phoned them up today and explained the situiation and the gentleman said minimum payment was £6 odd on the current balance then said one second while i check this and when he came back on the phone he said this months minimum payment was still £38.07
Is this correct.
Many thanks again.

It's correct. Refunds don't count as payments and in any case, it was received after your statement was produced.0
