    Hi Everyone,

I get this for hubby as this is his favourite one, they seem to be sold out everywhere of them atm where I normally buy them (Morrisons, & Co-op) - just wondering if anyone knew why - or if they're discontinuing them/repackaging etc, etc,

    Thanks in advance!

Hello, just had to register so I could solve this mystery! Are porridge oats not the main ingredient of Reindeer food!! Probably a world shortage of edible glitter too.:rotfl:
    Thanks. Penguinn

Just buy "normal" porridge - it's much cheaper, you make it the same way and it tastes the same or better.

Never in a million years, the best Porridge is Quaker, the cheap brands are like wallpaper paste.
  • I buy the cheapest ( usually Tesco value, cook it as normal ).
My chickens get half of it these cold mornings with added currants, I prefer just sugar, followed by fried duck eggs on toast - we are all happy with this arrangement.:j

To me, normal porridge is made with oatmeal and not made with porage oats. Only 3 ingredients: oatmeal, water and salt :)

Ya canny whack the stuff!! :j :j :j
