who knows of a good portable CD player? Please Help :)

Hi, does anyone know where I can buy a cheap portable CD player with Aux-in? I can only find one on amazon but it doesnt have very good reviews. What is the best quality one I can get for £30 or less? Thanks :)

a what? I thought they went out with cassette tape walkmans..... mp3 player and some ripping of CDs on to your PC not a better solution...

....also why would a cd player need any audio inputs?
  • My mum wanted one to put in the kitchen to listen to the radio and CD's, and I wanted aux-in so i could play my mp3 from it as well. I don't understand what the problem with that is.
  • Umm... impossible to find new. But Ebay is worth a go!

Most people's understanding of a portable CD player is one that doesn't have speakers - just headphone out.

You can still get plenty of CD/Radio combinations, but the problem is your budget. You are unlikely to get good quality sound for £30 or less. If you can up your budget then Roberts radio/CDs seem to get good reviews, and some of their models have aux-in.

    Thats why :)

Now i've asked the question and we've sussed out what you were actually after I agree with fwor -you're lucky to find decent quality speakers alone for <£30 but if you can up your budget a little Roberts is a good quality brand -I even got one for my mother a few Xmasses ago :)
