Six months down . . .

So I've now been bankrupt for six months. I guess it's gone by pretty quickly. Only another six months to go. (After the changes to the IPA rules, I'm not hoping for ED any more.)
Since my initial interview with the OR and my dealings with Moonbeever I've not heard a thing. Is that normal? Should I expect to hear anything? Is it possible I'll never hear anything again, and just sail into AD?

It is possible
Other than Moonbeever requesting the NTcode money we didn't hear a thing. Were grant ED 3 months before ED was due and I really wasn't expecting it.
In reality, apart from me contacting the OR's office due to silly games by my mortgage company re: reposession we wouldn't have heard anything more from the OR's office from just after the interview to tell me the car had been made exempt.0 -
i'm not expecting to hear from my OR now until I apply to buy back the BI in our house. All quiet = all good I reckon

I heard virtually nothing. Unless the OR has issues to deal with or resolve that they need to talk to you about, that is perfectly normal.

I've read people on here getting letters about the OR asking to be discharged from your account or something? Does that always happen?0

Do you mean "Applying for release as trustee"?
Does often happen, but not always. Nothing to be bothered about though. Just procedure.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Not necessarily.
Some people don't get the letter, even when it's clear that the OR has the investigation part of your case done and dusted.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

No news is good news. I didn't hear anything except issues with BI - and then that was 18 months after my BR date.

Hi all,
I have just declared myself bankrupt and was wondering if anyone knows how long your records are retained by experian/equifax when looking for credit after the 12 months of bankruptcy have expired?
Thanks0
