I aquired three over the last week but for some reason couldn't find the thread - I think my tin is getting excitingly close to being filled, only around an inch of space in the top (I can feel the coins touching others as I drop them in), so soon I'll be needing to give it a jiggle to get them to drop in. 'Course at 5 bags a time it's going to take aaaages to pay it all in, thankfully there are three branches of my bank on my local high street (and my other not so local bank is talking about putting coin machines in).
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

    Hi everyone,

'Nother horrid day out my window :( fingers crossed it'll brighten up at somepoint.

I added another £2 today making my running pot total £64 :j

Scuba 'couldn't find that thread'??!! Thats shocking  I don't think we have been on holiday anywhere have we? At least you are back with us now lol.

Hi Nikki... Congrats on finding one. It's always worth the wait even if there are loooong dry spells sometimes :D

GAP - Awww no, I feel for you. Perhaps you could persuade LMG to start her own pot?? Ok so less coins for you, but how happy will she be when she has saved £10 to spend all on herself!

Hi Shopaholic, Thats a fab amount well done. And I must say thankyou for releasing them back into the wild for the rest of us mwahahaha (evil laugh!) I hope it was near the north so I have a little chance at gaining one or two??!

Hello Dr Squeeze, how is the economic driving going? I think you should be able to last on £4 less if you drive a little slower? Is it working?

Palema there seems to be a nice total totting up there :T and La esc.. £2, £2, £2 they all help :)

Hope everyone else is having a lovely week so far and that £2's help brighten up the day even when the sun isn't shining xx

 Hi, firstly well done on topping up your own pot!

Yes, the reduced fuel is working. I'm being more careful about not leaving the engine running when I'm waiting for someone, and I'm planning ahead more so I can make fewer trips to the same places. It's a way of tackling the bad habit of running out of things and making a quick extra trip to restock. Just very modest savings but it all adds up. :j

I've also made a few small savings on the weekly shopping, to make sure I get at least £2 change, increases my chances of it including a magic coin :D
