It's never to late to join as people leave and join throughout the year.
Please note that there are no set rules here, you don't have to save them all year and then bank them; some people choose to bank them as and when they have a set amount. The choice is entirely up to you

As my £2 pot is a birthday fund and today is DD2's birthday I have decided to take the money! I didn't expect to have £38 already so it's a bonus. So as from today I am back to £0 and saving for DD1's birthday in April.
I just need to get another £2 so I can bank £40.
